En el 2005 el PE fue evaluado por CIEES obteniendo un resultado de nivel 1, dándole seguimiento a las 26 observaciones que de acuerdo a los indicadores que establece el propio organismo se fueron solventando en tiempo y forma.
De igual manera en el 2010 se inicio con el proceso de acreditación por parte de COPAES (CONFEDE) en donde se obtuvo la acreditación correspondiente por organismos PAES que permitieron fortaleciendo los aspectos académicos de docencia administrativos así como trayectoria y egreso contestando y dando respuesta apropiada a las 16 observaciones las mismas que fueron contestadas en tiempo y forma bajo un plan de trabajo organizado por las academias y la Coordinación de la carrera permitiendo con ello fortalecer métodos docentes de evaluación así como de enseñanza fortalecer contenidos temáticos de las diferentes unidades académicas y fortalecer con ello las competencias de egreso.
Febrero del 2015 se inicio con el proceso de re-acreditación por el CIEES  obteniendo esa categoría de re-acreditación y dándole seguimiento hasta el día de hoy a las observaciones 26

Marzo 2016 se inicio con el proceso de acreditación internacional cuyo objetivo era establecer los parámetros del PE de Abogado para acreditarlo internacionalmente. Logrando el trabajo en RED y contando con la correspondiente acreditación internacional.
